Cream of the Crop Extracts Review – Surprisingly Great Quality
This week, we will take a peek at Cream of the Crop Gardens. I’ve already enjoyed the top-shelf, yet slightly more affordable, quality of their flower eighths. Their flower eighths are always packaged in a variety of sleek-looking black jars with unique artwork and classy designs. Cream of the Crop currently offers flower eighths, concentrates, infused pre-rolls, tinctures, and capsules in select dispensaries throughout California. This time around, I will be trying out a couple of different types of badders from Cream of the Crop Gardens.
Pros:
- Surprisingly great quality
- Strong potency/effects
- Solid flavor
- Moderate price
Cons:
- Taste could be improved
Recommendations: The flavor could be improved, specifically for the Heavy Cream badder, which had a slightly more generic taste than the others.

Both cured resin badders had a similar appearance to the live resin sugar from Maven Extracts
This month, I picked up a couple of cured resin badders and a high terpene badder from Cream Of The Crop Gardens. The sophisticated packaging and artwork for Cream Of The Crop Gardens are very elegant. The boxes have floral designs etched around the edges. Both cured resin badders had a wet, shiny and smooth crumble-like texture that was easy to work with, similar to the appearance of the live resin sugar from Maven Extracts.
Heavy Cream was as tasty and potent as Maven Extracts sugar diamonds
First, I tried their Heavy Cream cured resin badder, which is an Indica dominant hybrid cross between GG4 and Cookies and Cream. The most dominant terpenes are listed as Caryophyllene, Nerolidol, and Limonene. The aroma and flavor of this Heavy Cream cured resin badder is sweet, earthy, and skunky. It also has hints of lemon, vanilla, and diesel. The effects of Heavy Cream felt initially calming, relaxing, and euphoric before lulling me into a deep restful sleep. This cured resin was as tasty and potent as Maven Extracts sugar diamonds. The THC % of Heavy Cream is 83.99%, the total terpene % is 5.89% and the total cannabinoid % is 87.23%.
Funky Monkey was better tasting and more potent than Friendly Farms, Highlights, and 831 Extracts
Then, I picked up their Funky Monkey cured resin badder, which is an Indica dominant hybrid cross between Trunk Funk and Grease Monkey. The most dominant terpenes are listed as Nerolidol and Caryophyllene. The aroma and flavor of Funky Monkey are earthy, skunky, and spicy with hints of lemon, berries, and diesel. The effects of Funky Monkey are initially felt in the face between your eyes. Eventually, it left me in an uplifted, relaxed, and euphoric mood, similar to their Heavy Cream badder. This cured resin was also better tasting and more potent than Friendly Farms, Highlights, and 831 Extracts. The THC % of Funky Monkey is 93.16%, the total terpene is 6.36%. The total cannabinoid is 94.82%. The potency definitely matches the percentages as it was the most potent of the three.
The Bio Hazard high terpene badder was the tastiest while Funky Monkey was the most potent of the three
In addition to their cured resin badder, I also tried Cream of the Crop Bio Hazard high terpene badder. Bio Hazard is an Indica dominant three-way hybrid cross between Skunk VA, Chem ‘91, and Dosidos. The most prominent terpenes of Bio Hazard are listed as limonene, myrcene, and pinene. The aroma and flavor of Bio Hazard is sweet, fruity, and gassy with hints of citrus, pine, cinnamon, and lavender. The effects of Bio Hazard left me in a mellow, relaxing, and euphoric mood. It felt perfect for evenings and nighttime. The THC % of Bio Hazard is 89.26%, the total terpene is 7.72%. The total cannabinoid is 89.26%.
Slightly weaker than Cosmic Brands, Connected Cannabis Co, and Cannatique Concentrates
The retail price of this resin badder is usually around $32 – $36 for a gram, pre-tax. If you enjoyed their flower eighths, I would highly recommend both their live and cured resin concentrates. With that said, I slightly preferred their Bio Hazard high terpene badder a bit more than both of their cured resin badders. On the other hand, I thought this live resin was slightly weaker than Cosmic Brands, Connected Cannabis Co, and Cannatique Concentrates.

Cream of the Crop Gardens is highly recommended for its better-than-expected quality, strong potency, and solid flavor
In conclusion, Cream of the Crop Gardens is highly recommended for its better-than-expected quality, strong potency, and solid flavor. I would highly recommend Cream of The Crop Funky Monkey cured resin and Bio Hazard high terpene badder. We should add that their Heavy Cream was less tasty and more generic than the two other pick-ups from Cream Of The Crop. I would also recommend Cream of the Crop Gardens over Friendly Farms, Highlights, and Ammo Brand. Cream of the Crop flower eighths concentrates, tinctures and capsules can be located in several dispensaries throughout California through here.
