Linx Ember Wax Pen Review – Great Battery and a Very Efficient Design
Today we will take a look at the Linx Ember wax pen, the smallest and most portable extract vaporizer from Linx Vapor. Linx Vapor offers a wide variety of different vaporizers equipped to handle flower and extracts. We have previously reviewed the Linx Blaze and Linx Eden. The Linx Ember wax pen currently runs for $39.99 on their website. We will detail our experience objectively as always in our non-affiliate reviews. For this review, I will take a look at the pros and cons of this wax pen.
Pros:
- Solid compact build
- Great battery strength
- Very efficient design
- Great airflow
- Affordable value
Cons:
- None

It’s perfect for beginners and solo sessions for the casual user
The Linx Ember is a surprisingly solid and efficient slim wax pen that’s perfect for beginners and solo sessions for the casual user. The Ember battery is also very easy to use with a simple one-button operation. The Linx Ember comes in a sleek black logo-engraved carrying case that includes the following:
- 1 ceramic atomizer w/ vapor window
- a 350 mAH lithium-ion battery
- 1 stainless steel mouthpiece w/ filter section
- 1 USB charger
The features and performance of the Linx Ember felt stronger and more efficient than the Hypnos Zero
The Linx Ember unit consists of four parts: the atomizer, the mouthpiece, the filter section, and the battery. In fact, its atomizer has a few impressive features that distinguish it from other similar wax pens. This wax pen uses a recessed coil atomizer that uses a quartz rod and ceramic chamber. This week, I had the chance to try both the Linx Ember and Hypnos Zero. Between these two Linx wax pens, I greatly preferred the features and performance of the Linx Ember over the Hypnos Zero. The recessed coil atomizer used in the Ember felt stronger and more efficient than the ceramic plate used for the Hypnos Zero.
The vapor window is a great feature that allows the user to see when your extract is vaporized
However, one of the strongest features of this Linx Ember wax pen is the vapor window. The vapor window is a great feature that allows the user to see when your extract is vaporized and when to take the hit. The Ember unit is turned on and off by pressing the power five times quickly. Operating this wax pen is very easy and simple:
- Unscrew the mouthpiece from the atomizer.
- Load your preferred extract onto the coil of the atomizer.
- Screw the mouthpiece back onto the atomizer.
- Screw the atomizer to the battery
- Press the power button five times to turn it on.
- Set your preferred heat setting (3.3v. 3.8v, 4.2v)
- Press the power button as your concentrate is easily seen vaporized through the vapor window. Inhale when the vapor fills up the atomizer seen through the vapor window.
The Linx Ember also has a sesh mode by pressing the power button two times quickly for ten seconds of continuous heating. The Linx Ember has three main heat settings that can be toggled through by pressing the power three times:
- Blue: Low (3.3v)
- Green: Med (3.8v)
- Red: High (4.2v)
The Linx Ember battery also serves as a great backup cartridge battery
The Linx Ember battery also works with most 510 threaded cartridges. Much like the Utilian 5, this is yet another versatile feature as it also serves as a great backup cartridge battery. As a battery, it also impressed me with how slim yet powerful and long-lasting it was. While not as strong as other bulkier wax pens like the Utillian 5, it’s a much stronger, less messy, and overall better experience than other slim wax pens like the GPen Nova.
The Linx Ember is better designed, stronger, and less messy than other wax pens like G Pen Nova
The maintenance is also very straightforward as there are only four pieces to clean. First, unscrew the atomizer from the battery. Then, unscrew the filter section from the mouthpiece. Finally, soak the mouthpiece, the filter section, and the atomizer in alcohol while you charge the battery. Compared to other similar slim wax pens, the Linx Ember is better designed, stronger, and less messy than something like the G Pen Nova. If you’re looking for a sturdier and more powerful wax pen, then the Utillian 5 wax pen might be more recommended than the Linx Ember. Overall, the Linx Ember also delivered a better experience, more efficient design, and more vapor than the Linx Hypnos Zeros. However, you can also still order a Hypnos Dios atomizer through their website.

Overall, the Linx Ember is highly recommended for its sleek and sturdy design, great battery strength, and highly efficient performance
In conclusion, this is one of the best options for a slim, budget-friendly wax pen, compared to other similar wax pens, such as the G Pen Nova. The Linx Ember is highly recommended for its sleek and sturdy design, great battery strength, and highly efficient performance. In addition, its price is incredibly appealing and the size of the Ember is perfect for traveling or solo sessions after work. However, the Linx Ember is smaller and weaker than something like the Utillian 5 wax pen. Regardless, the Linx Ember will be a valuable investment for anyone looking for a simple, sleek, yet powerful slim wax pen.
