MX Brand Live Resin Review – A New Budget-Conscious Line
Today we will take a look at MX Brand, which is the new budget-conscious line as part of Moxie’s rebrand. I have enjoyed Moxie products in the past, such as their cartridges and concentrates, which I thought were too pricey for some of their half-grams. MX brand currently offers flower eighths, live resin concentrates, and cartridges. The only difference between Moxie and MX brand is that the MX brand partners with greenhouse and/or outdoor sources such as Tar Hill Cannabis for their live resin sauce. The artwork by Upendo also drew my attention with its unique packaging and design. For this review, I will take a look at the pros and cons of MX brand live resin sauce.
Pros:
- Excellent quality
- Smooth taste
- Strong potency/effects
- Affordable prices
Cons:
- None
Recommendations: None

Consistency is similar to the live resin from Raw Garden, Synergy and TerpHogz
This week, I picked up MX brand Pink Lemonade live resin sauce sourced from Tar Hill Cannabis, whose Pink Lemonade has also been a popular strain that’s been extracted for concentrates over at Ursa Extracts, Feeling Frosty, Papa’s Select, Field Extracts, and Chemistry. Pink Lemonade is a Sativa-dominant hybrid cross between Lemon Skunk and Purple Kush. The appearance of this live resin looks typical with a nice golden amber color with small, chunky THC-A crystals drenched in HTE live resin sauce, which reminds me of Raw Garden, Synergy, and TerpHogz.
Both live resin sauces were tastier and smoother than Lemonnade, Live Resin Project, and PFFN Concentrates
When opening the jar, it has a fruity, perfume-like aroma that’s sweet, earthy, and floral with hints of lemons, grapefruit, and mint. The taste is similarly sweet, fruity, and floral with hints of lemons, citrus, berries, and earth. This live resin was just as tasty and smooth as the live resin from Guild Extracts, Jetty Extracts, and Nug Concentrates. However, this was also tastier and smoother than the live resin from Lemonnade, the Live Resin Project, and PFFN Concentrates.
Pink Lemonade was as potent as Guild Extracts, Jetty Extracts, and Nug Concentrates
The effects of Pink Lemonade felt uplifting, relaxing, and focused. It kept me in a creative and productive mood throughout the day as this has both calming Indica and energetic Sativa effects. Pink Lemonade is best enjoyed as a wake n bake or during the afternoon for an extra creative boost of energy and focus. This strain helps with symptoms of depression, fatigue, stress, lack of focus, and nausea. This is also intended to help anyone with stomach issues as well as anyone with muscle pain caused by fibromyalgia. The THC % of this Pink Lemonade live resin sauce is 72.22% and CBD % is 0.13%. Overall, this was as similarly potent as Guild Extracts, Jetty Extracts, and Nug Concentrates. It also felt stronger and more potent than the live resin from the Lemonnade, the Live Resin Project, and PFFN Concentrates.
Cherry Cookies was almost as potent as Synergy, Wonderbrett, and Cannatique Concentrates
This week, I also picked up their Cherry Cookies from their Upendo series. Cherry Cookies is a hybrid cross between Cherry Pie and a Girl Scout Cookies phenotype. Its aroma is similar to Pink Lemonade, sweet, earthy, and floral with hints of citrus, berries, and tropical fruits. Its potency is almost as strong as the live resin concentrates from Synergy, Wonderbrett, and Cannatique Concentrates. The THC % of this Cherry Cookies live resin sauce is 80.81 and the CBD % is 0.14%. Pink Lemonade was perfect for daytime while Cherry Cookies was great for evenings.
Cherry Cookies wins for potency while Pink Lemonade wins for flavor
The pricing for MX brand live resin sauce is roughly around $30-35 for a gram, pre-tax. Between the two live resin sauces, Cherry Cookies wins for potency while Pink Lemonade wins for flavor. Both live resin sauces also work well with traditional glass rigs, portable e-rigs, and/or nectar collectors. The Inhalco Silicone Glass Nectar Collector, the Dr. Dabber Boost Evo, and a traditional Hemper glass rig were all effective for both live resin sauces with very few issues.

MX brand is recommended for its relatively high potency, great flavor, and smooth taste for an affordable value
In conclusion, this is a very solid recommendation for its relatively high potency, great flavor, and smooth taste for an affordable value. Overall, I really enjoyed this live resin sauce and look forward to trying more strains as well as the MX brand cartridges. Both live resin sauces were just as tasty and smooth as the live resin from Guild, Jetty, and Nug, but tastier and stronger than the live resin from the Lemonnade, Live Resin Project, and PFFN. The overall potency for both live resin sauces was almost as strong as the live resin concentrates from Synergy, Wonderbrett, and Cannatique Concentrates. MX brand currently offers flower eighths, live resin concentrates, and cartridges throughout most dispensaries in California.
